How did you discover Montessori?

I discovered Montessori through a friend.

Why do you love being part of the Montessori community?

I’m new here but I am looking forward to utilizing my skill set through the lens of the Montessori method to support our students, teachers, and families.

What about WSM attracted you to the school?

When I came to do an observation, I was struck by the warmth and calm of the environment. Coming from a traditional education background, I was intrigued by the child-directed learning and the JOY of the children as they went about their work.

What are your credentials/experience?

I received a BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences and an MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Ohio State University. Additionally, I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. In 2013, I obtained Associate Level training in Orton-Gillingham, a multisensory, structured approach to reading instruction.
