Winston-Salem Montessori School is located in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, with easy access to the mountains and the coastal communities. We accept applications year-round for exceptional Montessorians who are committed to authentic Montessori practices. Lead positions require Montessori certification (AMS or AMI) as well as a four-year degree. Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants with Montessori experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Our school is located on a 15-acre campus in Clemmons, North Carolina, serving just over 250 children from ages 18 months through 15 years. Our school is an established, mission-driven organization that has provided fully implemented Montessori education for children and families for 50 years. Primary Lead Guide

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm

Seeking Montessori trained guides for our Primary/Children’s House programs. Ideal candidates will be seasoned professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willing to partner with parents and collaborate with a dedicated educational team to provide a nurturing authentic Montessori program for students.

Substitute

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm, Hours and Days Vary

$17.50/hour

 The substitute reports directly to the Director of Programs. They support the Lead Children’s House Guide in developing the after-school curricular program in a way that responds to the needs of the “whole child” within the context of the “whole day” for children 3 to 6 years of age. The Assistant Guide helps to guide the children’s activities academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that is in accordance with Montessori philosophy and WSM policies.

Summer Ventures Guide

Monday - Friday, Hours Vary from 2.5 hour days to 8 hour days

Compensation ranges up to $1,000 per week.

Camp begins the second Week of June through the last week of July

July 4th Week Off

You can request which summer weeks you would like and submit a theme.
