Toddler Asst. - Ms. Karen

Karen has had a passion for working with children her whole life, starting with babysitting at age 10. She is Montessori-certified in Children's House and Lower Elementary levels and joined TMS over 9 years ago.    When an opportunity arose for her to work with our youngest students in 2017, she did not...

Toddler Asst. - Ms. Nice

Ms. Nice brings tremendous warmth and joy to her work with the toddlers, and the children are very attracted to her loving care.  A native of Brazil, Ms. Nice and her family (husband and 6 year old daughter) have been in the Winston-Salem area for 7 years.  Ms. Nice holds a Bachelor of Arts in Portuguese, English and Literature and taught ESL in Brazil.  Ms. Nice's interests include reading, sewing and cross-stitching.

Toddler Asst. - Ms. Pooja

Working with children is something Ms. Pooja has always wanted to do.  When her child was enrolled at a Montessori school in New York, she became actively involved in the school and fell in love with the Montessori philosophy.  In fact, she was an assistant in their Children's House Program for 5 years.  When her family moved to North Carolina, Ms. Pooja knew she wanted to continue working at a Montessori school, and last year joined TMS as a Toddler Sunset Assistant.

When Ms. Sherri joined our community over 4 years ago, she brought with her a wealth of experience working with children in a variety of settings, as well as an undergraduate degree from a local Winston-Salem college. Ms. Sherri finds her work very rewarding and observing the facial expressions of the children when they are discovering something new brings her great joy.
